We had reservations for the ferry back to Nova Scotia for this morning at 11:45 am. We were notified via email last night that our ferry had been cancelled due to a gale warning. We were notified this morning that we had been re-booked on the ferry tonight at 11:45pm.
Ok. The forecast is showing a small amount of decrease in the wind speed. Unfortunately for us, it will likely be a very rocky ride as the gale force waves will not have had a chance to decrease much.
Adam went out to do the "Man in the Mountain" trail today. Hopefully, he'll take photos and create a blog post about the hike.
We'd like to leave Steady Brook by 4pm, to get us into Port aux Basque well before dark. We'll have to wait around a while, but I would rather wait near the ferry terminal. Google says we are about 2.5 hours from Port aux Basque now.
Luckily, we picked up some Dramamine and we will def be taking it. I'm personally not prone to seasickness, but I really don't want to risk it!
