El Paso and Van Horn, TX

 We reluctantly left Riverbend Hot Springs and headed for El Paso, TX. Adam has an Air Force buddy living there that we wanted to have lunch with.

We met up with Adam's friend Juan and his girlfriend in El Paso and had a great lunch in a little Mexican place. They just had a baby 6 months ago so there was a lot to talk about. Juan does a lot of  great work in mental health for veterans. We got back on the road, Interstate 10, which we will be on all the way to Florida. 

On to Van Horn, TX. We made a reservation at the Wild West RV Park. Nice place. Very clean and tidy. We rode our bikes to RJ's Steak House and had a couple of delicious steaks! Not much else in Van Horn. Back to the RV and started a movie and quickly fell asleep. 

This was an odd "Border" check. We never crossed into Mexico.
