We had planned to set off north today...

Brenda and Ed left town early this morning, around 4 am I believe.  Adam and I woke up much later, still with the intention of leaving today... We started doing laundry, and I started catching up on our blog... I phoned Gavin & Anna and invited them to go out for lunch. They didn't want to leave their little dog Ollie alone so they suggested that they would come over to us and bring lunch. Perfect!

We had a late lunch and spent time catching up on each other's lives!

Next thing we knew it was 4pm, and Adam and I quickly decided we would put off our departure until tomorrow.

We drove our little RV the 6 miles to Corner Brook. We picked up a few groceries. We managed to find distilled water at Walmart after having no luck at the grocery store. We stopped at the visitor center and dumped our tanks and filled our water tank with potable water. Then we headed back over to Canadian Tire to pick up a few odds and ends. Then, back to Wilton St. A nice quiet supper and early to bed.

I have to say it's been a nice respite here in Steady Brook!
